And tens of thousands of yuan of boxes, if not with a good front end, cables and other elements, the same effect can not come out, the more expensive the equipment, the higher the requirements for the entire audio system!

The monitor has the characteristics of low distortion, wide and straight frequency response, and almost no modification of the signal, which can most realistically reproduce the original appearance of the sound program.

According to the size of the speaker and how far the speaker can be placed, it is divided into three categories: near field, midfield, and far field.

Near-fieds monitor: As the name suggests, near-field monitoring means that the monitoring equipment is relatively close to the monitor, generally about 1-2 meters away from the head. In small rooms, it can be used as the main monitor.

Small studios and individual studios generally only use nearfield monitors due to their small area, and in high-cost medium to large recording studios, although they are rarely used, they are also available and can be used when necessary (usually used to check the "compatibility" of sounds).

Near-field monitors can reduce the chance of reflected waves (standing waves) being reflected through walls by reducing the distance between the monitoring equipment and the monitor so that the sound reaches the listener directly, making the sound more accurate in some aspects, and small field monitors have become a reliable recording and mixing tool in the field of recording engineering!

In addition, the acoustic environment decoration of the studio after using near-field monitoring is much simpler than far-field monitoring. It is easy to see between the near-field/midfield/far-field monitors only from the appearance: the near-field is basically miniaturized because it must be audible and not too cumbersome.

Due to the good transient response of the near-field monitoring box, small size, easy placement, and the playback of some strings, vocals and classical music that are not very dynamic, the sound is real and accurate, and the sense of layering is good, which has recently been promoted to civilian use by many audio manufacturers.
